GOKE

The first gallon of the Ottoman Empire, structured with 13th Century Iznik Pottery, manufactured by means of an engraving technique using water-based, gold bronze paint (22K). Goke (1495) is an oar-powered galleon used as flagship by Ottoman Admiral Kemal Reis. He could transport 700 men and was armed with an unknown number of cannons. He was burned by the Venetians during the Battle of Poncho (1499)
